My favorite game of Harvest Moon is The Hero of the Leaf Valley. Oh my! What a difficult question you asked! I cried when my character died because of old age and this is one of the best thing in this game because it's so realistic it even ages the characters in the game.
It thought me that sometimes in our lives we have to say good byes to the ones we don't want to let go. Honestly this game helped me so much in handling reality.no seriously it did helped me get through facing harsh reality. The game taught me that in our life we would meet ALL KINDS people and we should try to understand them first before judging them for who they are not. i was thinking how shitty boring it is and how weird and creepy the villagers are but after playing it for a week i felt so bad because the villagers aren't what i think they are cuz each of them has a story. I know most people think it's boring because it's too slow and a bit dull with no magical excitement but i think AWL teaches us about life in reality. When i played this i felt like i was playing some other game that is NOT harvest moon.actually it's kinda like astro boy except this astro boy is farming.įor ME the BEST harvest moon is "A Wonderful Life" hands down.It's the only harvest moon that stayed in my heart. I think the worst harvest moon i played is Inoccent Life: A futuristic shit. My first harvest moon is BACK TO NATURE and after this game i got so addicted to harvest moon games and to be honest i feel that Bnt and FoMT is actually the same cuz not much is different. I'm currently keeping my eyes open for a copy of The Tale of Two Towns so i can give that a go but sadly between work and bill it might by a birthday gift i'll get from my sister XD though I have to say my character would be classed as the "crazy cat lady" if she lived in the real world. The timing is well spaced and I love how the dogs and cats help take care of the animals. I love the game play set up as you have a goal other then "get married & have kids."
Now i have Grand Bazaar and i have re found my love of the game. This one didn't grab me like the first one and i just though it was me being spoilt by the first 2 i played. I kind of drifted away from harvest moon until my sister bought me Sunshine Islands once again i started playing. I was trying to get my sister into playing but the game just seemed to throw you in and just expect you to know what you were doing with no real help or guide as what to do. I was So happy when the DS version came out but I was highly disappointed with it. I first played Friends of Mineral Town and was hooked then i got Wonderful life and spent ages playing both. but i have only heard good things about the game play. I hold up my hand and can say i never played the HM64.
